Ambulance Bikes

Why?

O3e has partnered with Global Aid Vehicles to send Ambulance Bikes to Africa. We have acquired over 60 bikes from a UK based medical service and are now seeking clients to take on the challenge of refurbishing these bikes to the required standard to become medical bikes in Djibouti, Somaliland and Ghana.

These bikes are ideal to get medical help to areas which are impassable by vehicles. Each bike needs to be thoroughly checked and rebuilt with some new and recycled components with each bike needing panniers to carry the medical kits essential for the work they will be doing.

This is a LIMITED EDITION EVENT. We have a limited number of bikes available for this project. BOOK SOON!

How it works

Your group is divided in to teams of 8-10, each has their own workshop with tools and equipment. The challenge kicks off with a briefing and an introduction to Global Aid Vehicles. Each team member then attends a knowledge session to understand the technicalities of the Bikes. Once the sessions are completed, the teams are ready to build their Ambulance.

Incorporated in to the event are team challenges, testing communication, innovation, time management and trust. Teams will complete these challenges in order to acquire the final specialist parts necessary to refurbish their Ambulance Bike to the required standard.
