Manchester Children's Hospital Charity

We were thrilled to be able to support The Manchester Children's Hospital this year. Our client Astrazeneca took part in a huge Charity Bike Build, which saw them team building a whopping 33 bikes, which they were then able to donate and personally present to the children supported by the Manchester Children's Hospital.

Many of these children have undergone or are undergoing long-term treatment for serious and chronic illnesses. The bikes are a fantastic gift to children who are facing a tough time, offering fun recreational opportunities and supporting both physical and emotional rehabilitation.

Who are The Royal Manchester Children's Hospital Charity?

And why are bikes, trikes and wheelchairs so important to them?

The Royal Manchester Children's Hospital Charity (RMCHC) fundraises to provide valuable equipment and support services for the children supported by its hospital. This extra  provision of equipment and supportive services, whether it be music therapy or bed-side chairs for parents, make a huge and positive impact on the children they support, most of whom are experiencing serious and/or chronic illnesses.

Bikes, trikes and wheelchairs, not only put smiles on faces (which is very important!), but also offer a fantastic opportunity for both physical and emotional rehabilitation.
