The most inspirational team building activity you will ever witness?

On Tuesday, our lucky team got to spend the afternoon with a group of Help for Heroes' Veterans in Colchester.

Baxalta and Prudential kindly donated 10 Performance Wheelchairs, and we spent the afternoon working with the veterans to build them. The afternoon was finished off with a competitive game of wheelchair basketball!

We were also treated to a fantastic lunch cooked by the veteran's themselves, as part of the great work Help for Heroes and SSAFA carry out to help the veterans to maintain social contact and cope with their experiences. We enjoyed cheese tart, raw veg salad, blueberry muffins and jam tarts. We really do have the best job!

We want to extend our thanks to both Baxalta and Prudential for their kind wheelchair donation, and also to the inspiring veterans we met and the wonderful charities that support them.

We would love to build more wheelchairs for these charities and to give more veterans the opportunity to take part in their own team building experiences, building the wheelchairs for themselves.

If you've been inspired, and think your team could do with an inspired and motivational afternoon out of the office, please get in touch.

This really is team building at it's most unique, engaging and socially responsible.
