The vibrant, energetic and fun team at the ACC Liverpool, recently took on our Charity Bike Build team building challenge for the charity Save the Family.
This is one of many events we have hosted in the North West, which have all contributed to our decision to have a business hub in the area, so that we can employ members of the local community to run future events there.
It's a perfect fit with our business model to support local communities in any way we can, so we're thrilled that we have been able to do this. We now have hubs in the North West, Hertfordshire and as of August - Brighton too! It's all due to the growing support there is amongst businesses and employees to 'put something back' into the community, which in turn has seen our Charity minded events continue to grow.
120 members of the ACC team got together and built an impressive 15 bikes for charity in 2.5 hours of fun and games. They faced many team challenges to earn bike parts and accessories, and also had to attend various 'Knowledge sessions' with our qualified bike mechanics. They then had to the share the 'knowledge' with their team, and get the bikes built and successfully through their MOT!
The charity Save the Family were able to spend the day with the ACC team, which made the event even more special. Save the Family are a wonderful and locally based charity, and work with homeless and troubled families that need support. By spending the day with the ACC team, both client and charity got to learn a lot more about each other and how they could support each other in the future.
